PROVOCATION - FYROManians Destroy Greek Military Cemetery in Valantovo - Desecrate Graves Of Soldiers

Unknown assailants entered the Greek cemetery in Valantovo, FYROM late on Wednesday night and literally desecrated the graves of tens of Greek soldiers who are buried there.

Once the incident was made known, the Greek Liaison Office in Skopje immediately contacted FYROM's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to express its anger and horror as well as request that an immediate investigation be made.

The Greek side stressed that events such as these hurt relations between nations and obviously do not do anything to improve relations between both countries.

Sadly, when a representative from the Liaison Office together with a Defense Attaché visited the cemetery, they discovered that it was almost completely destroyed.

In Athens, Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos ordered the Head of the Liaison Office in Skopje to submit a formal demarche to the FYROM Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that requests from authorities there to condemn the incident, take all necessary steps in order to identify, punish those involved, as well as restore the cemetery.

Such acts cannot -and will not- be tolerated by the Greek people, especially from specific groups who we all know are financed by Mr. Hedge-fund Soros.

This is a disgrace, and a disrespect for the dead.

Shame.

Apparently the ship is going to continue to conduct seismic research here until April 5.

It should be noted that the Turkish research vessel is being closely monitored by Hellenic Naval Forces.

Kasidiaris Openly Accuses SYRIZA & Alexis Tsipras Of Supporting The Release Of Terrorists

Kasidiaris openly accused Alexis Tsipras, who he said signed this text which supported an "anarchist terrorist."
"All of SYRIZA released a terrorist who went from Molotov bombs to Kalashnikovs," said Kasidiaris.
Kasidiaris revealed the following 2007 document:

The first anarchist, 29-year old Panayiotis Aspiotis, was arrested in Kaminia, Piraeus in 2007 for a robbery that had occurred in June 2005 in Malakasa. Although the belated arrest raised many questions, the police said that the delay in solving the case was expected, since the evidence gathered needed to thoroughly be examined.

The robbery was conducted by unknown hooded assailants on June 25, 2005, at the annual Rock Wave Festival (37.5 km national road Athens - Lamia). The assailants apparently attacked the security officers who were guarding the entrance with batons, and seized 7,000 Euros as well as 2,000 brand-coupons.

Panayiotis Aspiotis already had a criminal record after being arrested in July 2005, along with George and Peter Kalaitzidis Karasarini, and charged with seizing the shields from the riot police in a violent attack. Aspiotis remained in custody the attack and was only released in June 2006.

Kasidiaris revealed that when Aspiotis (who he called "anarchist") was arrested the first time on charges of robbery, and the assault to riot police officers, all of SYRIZA including its leader Alexis Tsipras was by his side.
"They spoke about inadmissible and fabricated charges because of his political action and they supported his immediate release and succeeded in doing so."
Who petitioned for his release? (Here is the shock)

According to Kasidiaris, it was Alexis Tsipras, Nick Voutsis, Panagiotis Lafazanis, Simitris Stratoulis, George Stathakis, John Milios, (in other words, almost the whole party!)
"All of SYRIZA released a terrorist who went from Molotov bombs to Kalashnikovs. It is a shame that these people are today giving us lessons on terrorism. Tsipras cannot shed off its old clothes wither from Obama nor from his friend Soros."

Putin Slams Decision By IOC To Drop (Ancient Greek Sport of) Wrestling from Olympics

While speaking at a meeting with members of the Russian and international sambo federation on Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin underlined that wrestling should not be excluded from the Olympic games and noted that its ancient Greek roots made it a vital and integral part of the games.
"The removal of traditional sports that have been central from the beginning and were in the program of the Olympic Games in the times of Ancient Greece ... is unjustified," Putin was quoted as saying by the Russian news agency Interfax.
The decision has outraged the wrestling community. In Greece, the Olympic Committee (HOC) urged the IOC to reverse its decision regarding the sport, which was a star attraction in the ancient Games.
“This is undoubtedly a decision against the history of the Olympics and of sports in general,” the HOC said in a statement, according to the Greek newspaper Kathimerini.

In February the executive board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) made a surprise recommendation to drop wrestling from the Olympic program in 2020, leaving the sport to fight with seven others for one spot when the board meets in May.

Just because the IOC has recommended that the sport of wrestling be dropped from the 2020 Olympics does not mean that it is a done deal. The next step is for the IOC Executive Board to recommend a sport for the final spot in the 2020 Olympics. Wrestling will be considered for the position along with seven other sports. This recommendation happens in May in St. Petersburg, Russia. Then, the next step is for the entire International Olympic Committee to vote on the final program for the 2020 Olympics, which occurs in September in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Efforts have been made by USA Wrestling, FILA Wrestling, and other organizations to put pressure on the IOC to keep wrestling in the Olympics. If you would like to sign the petition to help their efforts, please go to

Golden Dawn Exposes Tsipras, Talks About History Lessons To Students (VIDEO)

Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos said in an interview on Wednesday
  • - I will not abandon our children in the hands of the polytechnic generation.
  • - I will give the children of immigrants who were born in Greece the opportunity to learn about this nation which is now their home
  • - Alexis Tsipras secretly met with the president of El Dorado while in the U.S.

The Golden Dawn party is going to begin giving history lessons on “the Olympian gods, the ancient Greek pantheon and the Christian faith". The lessons began last week with children whose parents accepted an invitation at a party office in a small town near Athens, and the party says that it will continue "national awakening" courses for its "little friends."

Meanwhile Michaloliakos threw a MEGA BOMB on the televised show, claiming that SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras met up with the head of El Dorado while in the US. Now, if this is true, then why is SYRIZA is pretending to protest at the gold mines in Halkidiki? No one knows, but several years ago the Avgi newspaper -which 100 percent supports the SYRIZA party- began featuring full page ads from El Dorado.

Well after googling for a while we discovered this story on Antinews.
"SYRIZA should be more cautious when addressing investing in gold mining in the area of Halkidiki, inciting its peripatetic followers to attack workers."
Antinews posted some common sense questions:

What forced SYRIZA and its President to alter their stance against the mining company when, on 2/5/2010 via the party's official newspaper "Avgi", it featured (and hailed) full-page ads from the "Greek Gold SA" company and the investment in Skouries?"

What about the time when SYRIZA's newspaper "Avgi", featured an article titled "Employment during the crisis", and the far-left party (which today says is against this investment) was proudly hailing this mining project in Halkidiki, describing it as "one of the biggest investments ever seen Greece ", or saying that the company protects "the environment with tangible solutions".

What motivated SYRIZA to make a 180 degree turn and target a particular investment and even instigate unlawful acts?

There are too many questions and the whole issue stinks a mile long!

Here is the video with the interview from the Golden Dawn leader. (the statement on Tsipras is at 24.00 into the first video)

Below are the front page of the Avgi newspaper with the controversial ad, the front page of the special insert and a full-page spread by the mining company.

MEGA FRAUD - Farmer Cheats State And Scores 184.075.770 Euros!

P1030463
The more the Financial Crimes Unit digs, and does it job properly, the more ridiculous and shocking scams it brings to light. One such scam was featured on the Greek blog sphere on Thursday about a farmer in Thiva who found a new way to cash in on hundreds of thousands of Euros in refund of Value Added Tax (VAT). The accused apparently established an agricultural business, of which he never issued and/or had any sort of invoice or document.

According to the "Vima" newspaper, the farmer appeared to be the owner of some 50,000 hectares of farming land in Thiva and as such was able to pocket a whopping 184.075.770 Euros in VAT returns. The trouble is, this farmer-wannabe-crook did not own any land at all!

Nonetheless, he tricked the State into thinking he used this land to cultivate onions and potatoes, and then he forged documents to show that he sold this harvest to more than 30 companies!

You can run but you cannot hide in Greece anymore and sooner or later SDOE is going to come knocking on your door. This is what happened to our farmer extraordinaire, after they discovered that the companies he was apparently selling his goods to had filed lawsuits against him for forgery!

According to SDOE, all of the 55-year old farmer's transactions were fake and he has never cultivated anything, not even one little onion or a potato.

Editor - While a third of the population in Greece starves, crooks continue to run ramped. The trouble is just several weeks ago many of these people blocked national highways and roads asking for even more money. While most farmers in Greece struggle, there is about 20 percent (more or less) that has lived extremely comfortably over the last few years by absorbing most of the EU funds in agriculture because they belonged to specific political parties! As for this crook... It wouldn't surprise us if he was rioting along with other farmers to absorb even more money for doing basically nothing at all! They should confiscate his assets immediately, lock him up and toss away the key! The general population has to stop being duped, robbed and economically raped by the twenty percent!

Is New Pope Reactionary Opponent of Argentina’s Cristina Kirchner?

Wojtyla beatified Nazis and did the CIA’s anti-communist bidding. Ratzinger was a member of the Hitler Youth. And now, the Vatican selects a Pope once connected with Argentina’s military dictatorship which disappeared thousands of leftists. The Catholic Church staunchly supported murderous coup governments in Latin America and the selection of Bergoglio from South America signals their dedication to overturning the continent’s progressive revolutions.
Mainstream media is already lionizing Argentine Cardinal Bergoglio, who today became Pope Francis I. Bergoglio has been discussed as a “moderate” and even a “liberation theologist.” Yet his interactions with Argentina’s President, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, paint a picture of a man hostile to the progressive Bolivarian governments in Latin America.

crimsonsatellite

As a bill legalizing marriage equality for gay couples made its way through the Senate, Bergoglio described it as having “destructive aims on God’s plan” and launched a failed to attempt to lobby senators to vote against it. He vocally opposed other social reforms such as gay adoption, upheld by Argentina’s Supreme Court, and the government’s free distribution of contraceptives. Cristina described Bergoglio’s reactionary worldview as reminiscent of “medieval times and the Inquisition.”

Though he once attacked former President Nestor Kirchner’s government as “immoral, illegitimate, and unjust” for not taking strong enough measures to support the nation’s poor, Bergoglio never uttered a word in opposition to the draconian military dictatorship that ruled Argentina with an iron fist.

A 2011 piece in The Guardian highlights Bergoglio’s collusion with the regime:
What one did not hear from any senior member of the Argentine hierarchy was any expression of regret for the church’s collaboration and in these crimes. The extent of the church’s complicity in the dark deeds was excellently set out by Horacio Verbitsky, one of Argentina’s most notable journalists, in his book El Silencio (Silence). He recounts how the Argentine navy with the connivance of Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, now the Jesuit archbishop of Buenos Aires, hid from a visiting delegation of the Inter-American Human Rights Commission the dictatorship’s political prisoners. Bergoglio was hiding them in nothing less than his holiday home in an island called El Silencio in the River Plate.
What scandal would have ensued if the first pope ever to be elected from the continent of America had been revealed as an accessory to murder and false imprisonment…
On Wednesday, Cristina announced via Twitter that the government had sent a congratulatory to Bergoglio. She also wished the new Pope a “fruitful” tenure based in promoting “justice, equality, fraternity and peace.” But a just, equal, and peaceful world is not one where the Vatican has a presence.

Troika hails significant progress, confirms that "a few issues remain outstanding"

A day after Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and representatives of the country's foreign lenders failed to reach a final agreement on a range of structural reforms, the so-called troika on Thursay confirmed that several issues “remain outstanding.”
“Significant progress has been made but a few issues remain outstanding,” said a statement issued by the European Commission, the ECB and the IMF.
“As additional technical work will be necessary to settle these issues, the mission will take a short break to allow this work to be completed,” it said.
The troika said the mission plans to return to Athens in early April to continue its work.

Meanwhile, their meeting at the Maximos Mansion with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras failed to reach a compromise and so the negotiations have been extended until the end of the month. However, Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras said Greece will finally get the March tranche and the remaining issues are going to be closed until the return the auditors.

The first disagreement with Greece’s lenders representatives lies in the issue of civil servants. Troika calls for layoffs and claims minister Antonis Manitakis is unable to present charts of departments and schedules for transfers or retirements. Manitakis presented a new plan but still he did not satisfy Greece's lenders.

The second point of disagreement is the collect of taxes on real estate. The State is committed to replacing the hike through the Greek Power Company (DEH) by the single property tax, but Greece's lenders insist to extend the measure for another year.

Parallel to this the Troika has rejected a reduction in Value Added Tax to eating establishments -at 13%- as well as the elimination of the measure for heating oil. The repayment of debt of citizens in the State remains open. There are also minor issues, such as adjusting the tranches for IKA, debts of municipalities, the EOPYY deficit and settling the loans toward banks.

Since the auditors left without the two sides reaching a final agreement, the negotiation is transferred to their political superiors. The representatives of the lenders argue that there are significant delays in administrative and fiscal reforms and in changing the tax collection mechanism, insisting that the government program is going to present significant shortfalls.

On its part, the Greek government says that the strength of Greek society has been exhausted and that deviations in revenues will be covered until the end of the year.
