China's COSCO Will Pour More Money & Create More Jobs in Piraeus

Great news. The Greek subsidiary of Chinese firm COSCO (SEP) said on Monday that it is going to create about 1,000 new jobs at the port of Piraeus, following the approval in the Greek Parliament of an amicable settlement with OLP.

In an announcement, the subsidiary praised the Greek government’s decision and claims that it is now in the position to further invest and create more jobs at the Piraeus port.

The approval of the settlement is most certainly going to pave the way for the construction of Pier III at Piraeus, which the firm claims is going to see investments of at least 230 million euros and the creation of more than 800 permanent job posts.
