SPECIAL REPORT - Kassidiaris Vs Repoussi - "Politically Incorrect" Statements Against "Scientific Point of Views" (VIDEO)

Sassy and bold Fotini Pipili, one of the most outspoken conservative New Democracy MPs totally fouled up today in our opinion and certainly she lost the respect of many conservative voters today. In a live cat fight that was televised on MEGA channel, Pipili and MP for the Independent Greeks party Mrs. Rahil Makri stretched out their nails and raised their voices to one another over what is "politically correct" and what is a "scientific point of view".

Let us be more specific, Pipili believes that DIMAR MP's Maria Repoussi's denial about the GENOCIDE of the Greeks in Pontus and Asia Minor is a "scientific point of view" whereas Elias Kassidiaris' denial of the Jewish Holocaust is an outright insult on democracy and not a "politically correct" statement to make.

Instead of inviting Elias Kassidiaris to explain why he questions the Jewish Holocaust, the hosts on MEGA channel's morning talk show decided to instead invite two members from parliament to talk about it. Basically their plan was to slam Kassidiaris for expressing his "politically incorrect" opinion, and allow the two ladies to begin bashing the Golden Dawn party and holding them accountable for his statements. But their plan backfired, because they forgot that last week Maria Repoussi, who without shame denied the genocide of the Greeks in Turkey, described the dance at Zalogo in Epirus as a myth!

The debate heated up when Fotini Pipili began to heavily criticize Kasidiaris for his statements, and this is when Makris jumped in and said that indeed criticism should be exercised against him, however parliamentarians should also exercise the same criticism against Maria Repoussi for her statements last week as well.

For some odd reason, this struck a nerve in Mrs. Pipilis and she exploded!
"It is inconceivable to compare fascists to a scientific point of view"!
Excuse us Mrs. Pipili? Denying the genocide of the Greek people is a "scientific point of view" because a leftist says it, but when someone from the right says something similar then they are considered fascist and it a "politically incorrect" statement to make?

Are you kidding us?

Exactly which party do you represent in Parliament because we are totally confused!

To be quite honest, I was totally flabbergasted with her statement and although I support the New Democracy party, and have done so for years, I was totally blown away with what she said. Now don't get me wrong, Mrs. Makris is indeed outspoken and from what it looks like she is quite rough around the edges a bit, but what she said today on live television is absolutely sound and true.

But it did not stop there.

I also noticed that when Mrs. Pipilis ran out of points to back up her argument -meaning that she wanted to avoid being grilled for the statement she made about Repoussi- she began to use a very well known PASOK tactic of belittling the person she was speaking to. In other words, she began to take personal blows against Mrs. Makris.

This indeed shocked us here at HellasFrappe, and me personally, because until now only leftists, especially from PASOK, used this tactic.

Let me explain: Whenever PASOK ran out of points to back up its argument they would always result to mudslinging in a ploy to intimidate the person that was arguing with them and to turn public attention away from the topic discussed to where they wanted it to go. Well Mrs. Pipilis did exactly that. Up to now we only saw characters such as Adonis Georgiadis using this tactic, and we never hid our disgust and our criticism, and unfortunately today we saw the same tactic being used by Mrs. Pipilis.

Mrs. Makri should not be looked at as a victim either because when Pipilis began to personally attack her she allowed her nails grow to extreme lengths and began to attack back!

And since Mrs. Pipilis was on a role she turned to Makris and asked: Are you a historian or have a brilliant career? And obviously Makris answered: Why are you?
"Maybe when I reach your age I will have a brilliant career."
OUCHHHHHH - Mrs. Makri hit Mrs.Pipilis way below the belt on that one given that Mrs. Pipilis is a more mature woman. (In other words almost twice the age of Makris).

(Mrs. Makris should have asked Pipilis what prompted her to defend Maria Repoussi, but in these sort of cat fights we discovered in the most unpleasant way that there are no rules.)

The conversation continued and both women began raising their voices at each other more and more. Certainly this is good for the ratings, but certainly not something that someone wants to experience early in the morning! (At this point my coffee began tasting like mud, and I needed some asprin to calm down the migraine they were both giving me.)

And when Mrs. Makris took the conversation back to the terrible statement that Mrs. Pipilis said, then Mrs. Pipilis decided to strike harder and she began to question how Mrs. Makris got hired by the Greek public sector.

The following dialoge took place:

F. Pipili - Let us see your resume Mrs. Makri
R. Makri - To see what? What are you implying?

F. Pipili -  We've already seen it. You think you are a know-it all.
R. Makri - And you are a racist against Greek parliamentarians!

F. Pipili -  Tell us how you get hired by the public sector?
R. Makri - Why don't you tell us since you already know.

F. Pipili -  (You did not get hired) with meritocracy ...
R. Makri - (At this point she turns to the journalists) Adise her (Mrs. Pipilis) to stop attacking me personally.

And all of this because Mrs. Makris dared to criticize a statement that Mrs. Pipilis made about what is democratically acceptable by a society and what is not.

I like Mrs. Pipilis, but in all honestly she really struck out today. She has to realize that what sets apart conservatives from leftists in this country is their consistency in their beliefs. They never flip-flop and they always put the interests of the nation and the people before anything else. Adopting tactics from PASOK, or other conservative foreign wannabes like Adonis Georgiadis, is not going to cut it and quite frankly its insulting to all of us who advocate for the New Democracy party.

As for Mrs. Makri, she needs to definitely iron out those rough edges and her approach. Nonetheless, we have to admit that today she was absolutely right in criticizing Pipilis' statements.

Mrs. Pipili should have known better. The statement she made today probably shocked conservative voters in Greece who have had it up to here with all this leftist rhetoric. Does Mrs. Pipilis want to elevate the popularity of the Golden Dawn party even more? Did she even realize what she said? How can one opinion be condemned while the other patted on the back?

As for Elias Kassidiaris and his opinions about the Jewish Holocaust, this is indeed a shame. We most certainly respect a person's right to interpret history any which way he or she pleases, but this is all it is. An interpretation. It cannot be considered as a fact. History cannot be rewritten, and it certainly cannot be revised and whether he likes it or not this is a historical FACT. The Jewish Holocaust was the worse chapter of the Second World War, and whoever does not recognize this needs to do some serious reading.

As for "scientific point of views" over "politically correct" statements... This is a HOGWASH. We cannot close our eyes as a society to Maria Repoussi's statements and only point our finger at people like Kassidiaris for basically doing the same thing. This is undemocratic!

Shame on all of them... Anyway you slice this story, it stinks from all sides.

Marina Spanos

Officials Believe Explosion Of Korydallos Prison Warden's Car - A Terrorist Plot

The car belonging to the warden at Greece's largest maximum security prison Korydallos was apparently blown up outside her house early on Friday, press reports said. The explosion, according to reporters, occurred at 4.40 a.m. in the neighborhood of Dafni (Her car was apparently parked near the intersection of Diomedes 3 and St. Barbara). The anti-terrorism squad is conducting a thorough investigation into the causes of the explosion, and there has been no immediate claim of responsibility as of yet.

Nonetheless several news reports are beginning to point out that the explosion could be a terrorist plot. According to these reports, police officials at first believed that her car may have been attacked by present and/or former prisoners and/or criminals, however, they quickly ignored this idea because the evidence that surfaced revealed that it might just be a terrorist attack. One of the reasons for this, said one report on defencenet, is because about 20 minutes before the blast, two warning calls were made about the explosion: one to the ANT1 television station and the other to the zoogla.gr new site.

Despite a quick mobilization from the police, the bomb was unfortunately detonated. As a result of the blast, the automobile was totally destroyed and engulfed in flames, while the blast also caused damages to the surrounding buildings, homes, etc.. A 50-year-old woman suffered minor injuries from the explosion.

Some officials, according to defencenet, also believe that the terrorist organization "Cells of Fire" (Pirines Tis Fotias) is behind the attack and this would kind of explain why the anti-terrorism squad was called to the scene so quickly. Quite interestingly, the site notes that there are similarities between the blast in Korydallos with a bomb blast at the Mall Shopping Center several months ago.

MUST READ - DOJ-FBI - Ain’t Nothing Here, but the Nothing is Classified & Sensitive

HellasFrappe has made no secret about its admiration for Sibel Edmunds. Aside from being BIG FANS, for making operations such as "GLADIO" easily understood, we also anxiously await for her articles everyday.  The following story was posted by Sibel on her Boiling Frogs Post website. It is a must read!

It should be reminded that Sibel Edmonds is the Publisher & Editor of Boiling Frogs Post and the author of the Memoir Classified Woman: The Sibel Edmonds Story. She is the recipient of the 2006 PEN Newman’s Own First Amendment Award for her “commitment to preserving the free flow of information in the United States in a time of growing international isolation and increasing government secrecy” Ms. Edmonds has a MA in Public Policy and International Commerce from George Mason University, a BA in Criminal Justice and Psychology from George Washington University.
"Once upon a time there lived a Saudi Clan in a city called Sarasota in the United States. The clan was visited by Mohamed Atta – the government-designated top hijacking terrorist who according to the US government led the largest terrorist event in the history of the United States – known as 9/11.
The clan’s Sarasota house was visited by this lead hijacking terrorist not once, not twice, but many times. The clan also had visits from two other US government-designated 9/11 hijacking terrorists – Marwan Al-Shehhi, who supposedly crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into the South Tower, and Ziad Jarrah, who was supposedly at the controls of United Airlines Flight 93 when it crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.
Are you with me so far?
Let’s simplify and sum this up so far for the sake of our simplicity-loving majority: Three 9/11 hijacking terrorists visited a Saudi Family in Sarasota repeatedly before 9/11.
About a month before September 11, 2011, after government-confirmed multiple visits by the three 9/11 hijacking terrorists, this Saudi clan hurriedly left their Sarasota home, went to the airport, and left the country – mysteriously and  in a hurry.
Edmonds describes it as hurriedly and mysteriously because according to her they left behind their fully-furnished luxury house, their three luxury cars, their luxury refrigerator filled with food, their furniture and clothing, and while their luxury swimming pool water was still circulating. In other words, these Saudis left everything behind and flew off to Saudi Arabia-in almost a panic mode. And they never came back.
"Let me quickly cite mainstream media reports-articles and government confirmation before our simplicity-loving and government-trusting majority categorize this tale as a ‘conspiracy’ and stop reading the remainder.
"In February 2012 the UK Telegraph reported the following:
A Saudi Arabian accused of associating with several of the September 11 hijackers and who disappeared from his home in the United States a few weeks before the attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon, is in London working for his country’s state oil company.
"Security records of cars passing through a checkpoint at the Prestancia gated community indicated that Mr. al-Hijji’s home, 4224 Escondito Circle, had been visited a number of times by Mohamed Atta, the leader of the 19-strong hijack team, who piloted American Airlines Flight 11 into the North Tower of the World Trade Centre in 2001.
"The logs also indicated that Marwan Al-Shehhi, who crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into the South Tower, and Ziad Jarrah, who was at the controls of United Airlines Flight 93 when it crashed in a field in Pennsylvania, had visited the house.
She says that all three men had trained to fly at Venice Airport, which is 19 miles from Sarasota.
"Abdulaziz al-Hijji and his wife Anoud left three cars at their luxurious home in a gated community in Sarasota, Florida — one of them new — and flew to Saudi Arabia in August 2001. The refrigerator was full of food; furniture and clothing were left behind; and the swimming pool water was still circulating.
"You see, the tale I recounted was confirmed and reported by mainstream media outlets like Telegraph UK, Miami Herald, Seattle Times, Tampa Bay Times, and almost all major mainstream outlets-albeit with their usual shallow and never-to-be-truly investigated modus operandi. Here is a report by Seattle Times confirming the FBI’s confirmation and report on this never-truly investigated case:
"A Saudi family who left their Sarasota, Fla.-area home weeks before 9/11 had “many connections” to “individuals associated with the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001,” according to newly released FBI records.
According to her the records cast new light on one of the remaining unresolved mysteries regarding Florida’s many connections to the 9/11 attacks: What went on before the attacks at the home of Abdulaziz al-Hijji and his family?
"I hope having presented the discredited and disgraced US media confirmation of our tale (so far) persuades our government-trusting and simplicity-loving majority to continue reading.
"Despite all the evidence, all the confirmation and even some media exposure no one in our government ever bothered to truly investigate this case. The little poking around they did- which produced damning evidence, resulted in no ‘real report.’ This significant real-life tale with significant connections to the biggest terror event in the history of the USA never made its way into any of the pseudo investigative government reports-9/11 Commission or Senate-House investigations or reports.
Accordng to Sibel the clan continued to live happily after, not in Saudi Arabia but in England:
"A decade after the world’s worst terrorist attack, which claimed the lives of 3,000 people, Mr. al-Hijji is resident in London, working for the European subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s state oil company. Described as a career counsellor, he is based in the offices of Aramco Overseas Company UK Limited and lives in an expensive flat in central London.
She then explains the US government part in this controversial story.
"The FBI has played this massive cover-up in their usual way: Putting damning evidence-reports and statements out confirming the case, and simultaneously denying the case and its intimate connections to 9/11, allow me to illustrate:
"Confirmation- A US counter-terrorist agent told The Daily Telegraph: “The registration numbers of vehicles that had passed through the Prestancia community’s north gate in the months before 9/11, coupled with the identification documents shown by incoming drivers on request, showed that Mohamed Atta and several of his fellow hijackers, and another Saudi suspect still at large, had visited 4224 Escondito Circle.”
According to her article, Mr. al-Hijji’s account is supported by the FBI, which she points out has stated:
“At no time did the FBI develop evidence that connected the family members to any of the 9/11 hijackers … and there was no connection found to the 9/11 plot.’’
So let’s run this again, starting with the confirmation:
"An April 16, 2002, FBI report says “repeated citizen calls” led to an inspection of the home by agents of the Southwest Florida Domestic Security Task Force. “It was discovered that the (family name deleted) left their residence quickly and suddenly. They left behind valuable items, clothing, jewelry and food in a manner that indicated they fled unexpectedly without prior preparation or knowledge,” the report says. “Further investigation of the (name deleted) family revealed many connections between the (name deleted) and individuals associated with the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.
A Saudi family who left their Sarasota, Fla.-area home weeks before 9/11 had “many connections” to “individuals associated with the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001,” according to newly released FBI records.

And follow it up with a denial:
"The FBI said that it had interviewed members of a Saudi Arabian family that left Sarasota shortly before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and found no evidence they were connected to the hijackers or the terror plot. In what he called a statement “to correct the public record,” Steven Ibison, special agent in charge of the Tampa office, took issue with a recent story that claimed the FBI found “troubling ties” between the hijackers and the al-Hijji family, the residents of a home in a gated Sarasota community.
She advises anyone wishing to find out more about this to simply comb through all the FBI reports and statements on this case to date. She says that it is guaranteed that we will find: tons of evidence and confirmation followed by a few tons of denial.
"That’s the good ol’ boy FBI for you."
Of course no matter the connections of this case to Saudi Arabia, and regardless of the clan’s current resident in our brother-nation the United Kingdom, the US State Department has had zero to do with the entire case.

As for the US media – even the simplest question has not been asked to date:
"Why would they, Abdulaziz al-Hijji and his wife, leave a luxury house with all its furniture, three cars, almost all their clothing items and more behind- very hastily?!"
All this, says Edmunds, brings her to the latest development in the case which has been completely ignored by the US media:
"A senior FBI official has told a Fort Lauderdale federal judge that disclosure of certain classified information about Saudis who hurriedly left their Sarasota area home shortly before 9/11 “would reveal current specific targets of the FBI’s national security investigations.”
"The government’s latest court filings, thick with veiled references to foreign counterintelligence operations and targets, deepen the mystery about a once-secret FBI investigation of Esam and Deborah Ghazzawi and their tenants, son-in-law and daughter, Abdulaziz and Anoud al-Hijji.
The filings by Miami Assistant U.S. Attorney Carole M. Fernandez also seek to justify in the name of national security numerous deletions of information from FBI records about the decade-old investigation that were released recently amid the ongoing litigation.

One thing, she adds, that we must all credit the US Department of Justice and the FBI for is this: consistency. In this case, the consistency in having it both ways-confirm and deny. Also the consistency in feeling no shame in engaging in confirmation and denial simultaneously:
"The FBI later confirmed the existence of the probe, but said it found no evidence connecting the Ghazzawis or the al-Hijjis to the hijackers or the 9/11 plot."

She also reveals that the newly released FBI records contradict the FBI’s public denials. One dated April 4, 2002 says the investigation “revealed many connections” between the Saudis who fled Sarasota and “individuals associated with the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.”

For months, the FBI claimed it had no responsive documents regarding its Sarasota investigation. But on March 28, Sibel says that Hardy unexpectedly announced the Bureau had located and reviewed 35 pages of records. It released 31 of them.
"That is right. The DOJ-FBI confirms the existence of evidence and reports connecting the Sarasota Saudi clan to 9/11, and claims that these reports are extremely sensitive and highly classified. They say ‘there ain’t nothing here,’ and that there were no connections between the Sarasota Saudi clan and 9/11, and at the same time they claim that this “nothing” is highly classified and sensitive.
"This is another case among hundreds that have been placed in the US Government Black Hole. This is a tale among a dozen others that have been censored and covered up by the United States government. Is this a conspiracy? Put all these cases, including the latest on the Sarasota Saudi Clan, in one place, and can you tell me it isn’t? The Western simplicity-loving government-trusting and mainstream media-following majority has half of it right. It is a conspiracy.
"What they don’t have is the other half: A conspiracy, not one concocted by outside theorists, but a massive one carried out by the US government."

ECONOMIST - Recep Tayyip Erdogan - Democrat or Sultan?

Credit Economist
In an article appearing on Thursday in the Economist magazine Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan the following question is raised? Is Erdogan a democrat or sultan. The author of the article indirectly advises the Turkish PM heed the street protesters in his country and to stop dismissing them.
"BROKEN heads, tear gas, water-cannon: it must be Cairo, Tripoli or some other capital of a brutal dictatorship. Yet this is not Tahrir but Taksim Square, in Istanbul, Europe’s biggest city and the business capital of democratic Turkey. The protests are a sign of rising dissatisfaction with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s most important leader since Ataturk. The rioting spread like wildfire across the country. Over 4,000 people have been hurt and over 900 were arrested; three have died.
The spark of protest was a plan to redevelop Gezi Park, one of the last green spots in central Istanbul. Resentment has been smouldering over the government’s big construction projects, ranging from a third bridge over the Bosporus to a crazy canal from the Black Sea. But only after this first protest was met by horribly heavy-handed policing did the blaze spread, via Twitter and other social media. A local dispute turned national because its elements—brutal police behaviour and mega-projects rammed through with a dismissive lack of consultation—serve as an extreme example of the authoritarian way Mr Erdogan now runs his country (Read more by clicking here).

CRETE - Attempt To Break Guinness Book of Records For Mass Release of Vultures

Ten vultures who had suffered poisoning and were treated at the Hellenic Wildlife Hospital on the island of Aegina, are going to finally be released back into the wild on Saturday and once done it could mean a new world record. Authorities claim that the birds are to be released at 11.30 a.m. in the area of Archanes. Apparently organizers have applied for the event to be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest mass release of vultures of its sort in world history. Will they be successful? Guess we just have to wait until the weekend to find out.
