Over the last few days HellasFrappe has published a few stories about the trip of main opposition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras to the US. We also republished a story from a German magazine that noted that Tsipras' trip was sponsored by Wall Street investor George Soros. With so much going on we almost forgot about former premier George Papandreou and his friendship with George Soros.
For instance:
On April 5, 2011 Soros visited Papandreou at his office in Parliament while he was still Prime Minister! The meeting was also attended by former Finance Minister George Papakonstantinoj Sources - Athens News And Greek reporter
Or what about this story?
"He wrote that the member of the Foundation Jeffrey D. Sachs, whose last name amazingly resembles the name of the investment fund Goldman Sachs, operates in the same field of activity. "Look closely at the members of the board, headed by Andrikos. In the coming days you will find out who each one of them is and what his relationship is with the companies that sell inside information, with the foundations owned by friends of George Papandreou, George Soros, with companies that stake on the bankruptcy of Greece and with the "wise advisors" who are responsible for the propaganda, such as Jeffrey D. Sachs. Date - January 11, 2012 - Source - GR ReporterOr what about this story and the secret meetings at the Pentelikon Hotel?
Papandreou stole the vote from Greeks by lying when he was insisting that "money exists". He kept on lying after the elections when he was assuring Greeks that IMF is not an option while at the same time he was in consultations (inviting) with Dominique Strauss Kann. He knew everything about the situation of greek economy as Mr Provopoulos (manager of the Bank of Greece), Mr Steinbruck (former German minister of economics) and others had informed him. Not to mention his secret meetings with the "profitmakers" (such as Mr George Soros at the Pentelikon Hotel in Athens April 23rd 2010) the same time he was trying to "fight" them with "gun on the table". Of course Papandreou never informed the Greeks what was discussed at those meetings! As we will never know (at least by him) what he is discussing with Mr Erdogan in his secret diplomacy. Looks like Alexis can learn a lot from George Papandreou since they have the same friends and our former premier is not playing hide and seek any longer! Read the following announcement about a discussion that was held earlier this week, and watch the video. Special thanks to infognomonpolitics for the story.
