Gov't to Allocate 51.5mln Euros for Heating

The government said on Monday that it is going to allocate approximately 51.5 million Euros for the heating needs of hospitals and schools, as well as deposits for heating allowance.

According to Alternate Finance Minister Christos Staikouras, 10 million Euros are set to be allocated to the Ministry of Health for the heating needs of public hospitals, 4 million Euros will be directed to the Interior Ministry for the needs of schools and roughly 37.5 million Euros is going to be allocated as deposits to people who are entitled to the subsidy.
