The government is determined to attract new investments and improve the competitiveness of Greek enterprises that is why on Monday a discussion was held between Prime Minister Antonis Samaras with the presidency of Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras and Development Minister Kostis Hatzidakis.

Following the meeting, the finance minister told reporters that as a first step they analyzed ways towards improving competitiveness in the industrial sector, and revealed that the discussions will continue.

Asked by a reporter on whether the country has fulfilled all prerequisites for the disbursement of the next tranche of rescue aid, Stournaras noted that the government is "fulfilling them, slowly".
