MAKE HIM SH**T UP - ND MP Giakoumatos openly favors early elections!

The second vote for the Presidential elections is expected to take place in Parliament on Tuesday amidst an extremely polarized climate, which has only escalated following the scandalous revelations from Independent Greeks (ANEL) MP Pavlos Haikalis that speak about MPs being bribed.

ANEL MP Vasilis Economou told the Athens-Macedonia News Agency on Sunday that he is going to vote for the coalition government's candidate Stavros Dimas in the second and third vote. Economou made it clear that he was covered by the proclamations made by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on Sunday night where he noted that elections would be held at the end of 2015.

Samaras' proclamations also appear to have convinced ANEL MP Giannis Kourakos, who told the state run AMNA news agency that he is going to vote for Dimas on Tuesday as well. Kourakos had previously set three conditions for supporting Dimas’ candidacy; namely a broad consensus government, completing the constitutional review and calling elections in 2015 (so all three conditions were obviously met via Samaras' speech).

On the other, independent MP Vasilis Kapernaros told AMNA that he will not be voting for Dimas noting that “since the two major parties want elections, let us go to elections and each can assume their responsibilities – I will vote ‘present’”.

The real surprise, however came from New Democracy's Deputy Minister of Growth Gerasimos Giakoumatos who openly stated that he disagreed with his party and that he wants elections to be held now.

Giakoumatos, who is a long-time supporter of the Mitsotakis family,  appeared on Mega Channel on Monday morning arguing that he is in favor of early elections, contrary to Samaras' efforts to reach a political consensus.

Giakoumatos underlined that "I disagree with my party, I want elections so that we can end this story once and for all".

Editor's Note - It should be reminded that the Mitsotakis family (which is very close to the Bush family) has not really held Samaras in high regard. In fact Mitsotakis is Samaras' biggest foe and therefore Giakoumatos' comments come as no surprise. He is probably still dreaming about Dora or Kyriako prime minister... The ND party should really clean house... The same wannabes who are rumored to have helped bring down Costas Karamanlis -by helping Papandreou with the scandalous Vatopedi case which turned out to be a farce- are now turning their fury on Samaras.
