Athens' Historic Estia Bookshop Closes After 128 years

There are so many businesses in Athens that are unable to cope with the present economic crisis, and as such they are closing their doors to business forever. Such is the case of the historic "Estia" bookshop which shut down on Saturday, after 128 consecutive years in business. The bookshop, located at 60 Solonos Street in central Athens, had been an important cultural hub and a meeting place for writers, artists and many politicians.
