Nafplio Joins Celebrations Of European Night of Museums

Nafplio, the first capital of Greece after the end of the Ottoman rule, will participate in the celebrations of the European Night of Museums on Saturday, May 19. The municipality is planning to open all the city's museums and art venues from 9:00 p.m. to midnight and invites everyone to have a glass of wine to the backdrop of live music and other events. The National Gallery, the Archaeological Museum and the 'Stathmos' Children's Museum are among a large number of sites that will be open to public on Saturday night. So if you are visiting Nafplio, or plan to drive there for the weekend, make sure to drop by one of these locations for a magical evening.
