At the same time, more easyJet has added more destinations to its flight schedule for 2015. According to reports, the airliner is going to operate two flights from Fiumicino airport in Rome to the islands of Zakynthos (Zante) and Kos and one flight from Geneva to the island of Santorini as of June 28th until August 15th. This will raise the number of new easyJet flights to Greece to 10.
Meanwhile, Ryanair, said it added flights from Athens to the island of Santorini and to Bratislava and Budapest. The two new daily flights are set to begin in April, while three flights a week will be conducted to Bratislava and four flights a week to Budapest from Greece's capital. The company announced that it is also going to raise the number of flights to Chania from two to three a day and to Paphos from one to two, offering a total of 12 destinations to and from Athens, with an anticipated 2.2 million passengers.
