The gap between the ruling New Democracy party and the radical left main opposition party SYRIZA is narrowing. In a recent poll conducted between the 11th and 14th of December 2014 by VCITIZENS, and which is published in Wednesday’s edition of the Efimerida ton Syntakton newspaper, SYRIZA is only leading ND by a 3.2-point lead. At a first glance, the Golden Dawn party will hold its forces, while ANEL and DIMAR are not going to enter Parliament. PASOK, on the other, is at an all time low and it is still uncertain whether they will be able to generate the votes needed to make it into Parliament. The good news: Neither will George Papandreou's unnamed party (which some have said will be similar to that of the Democratic party in the US).
