When you think of prime dairy products you should really think of Greece. Greek yogurts are already gaining many fans in the US and Canada because of their exceptional taste and high protein content, while everyone loves feta cheese (and Greek cheeses in general), but guess what... Greek ice cream is also gaining many fans in Europe. So much so, that it recently won first place in the Pan-European ice cream contest in Berlin!

Nicolaos Christogiorgos and Nikolaos Neroladakis apparently won over judges at this year's event with their mango and chocolate flavored ice cream. The mango flavored ice cream, made by Christogiorgos, received the highest score in its category. Tied at second place were participants from the Netherlands and Slovenia.

Editor's Note - HellasFrappe wanted to include a quick 3-minute ice-cream recipe for you, which we have tested and continue to make year-round when we feel like having a quick ice-cream fix. Trust us... this method is full-proof and you can substitute whole milk for condensed, or light. You can make ice-cream literally anywhere you go, all you really need is lots of plastic -clean- bags, ice cubes, milk, some icing sugar and vanilla (or other flavoring) and two strong hands! That's it! Follow the directions in the video below, and enjoy this treat any time of the day!
