In a move to crackdown even further against the surge in crime, which is conducted mostly by the flood of illegal immigrants who are invading Greece everyday, and with the hopes that this will decrease its activity, Greek Prime Minister Anotnis Samaras is now endorsing a new legislation that aims to punish illegal immigrants very severely -even more so than nationals or legal immigrants - who are arrested for various acts of crime. The reasoning behind this law is simple. All those who illegally crossed into Greece and are involved in activities such as looting, theft, prostitution, drug trafficking, rape, murder, etc., cannot expect to receive the same treatment (judicially) as Greek nationals and legal immigrants do. An extensive report on this new legislation was featured on SKAI channel on Monday night. Here is the video.
