Didn't think we could make a top ten list huh? Well we did. Greece is apparently a favorite destination of the gay community. In fact it was listed as the ninth most preferred holiday spot in the world by the association for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) community.
And because many of you might smirk, or make funny faces at this announcement, France was still considered as the top destination, followed by Great Britain, the United States, Italy, Spain, Australia, Germany, Canada, while Argentina came in 10th place.
The poll surveyed 100,000 people from well over 24 countries, by asking them which country they would like to visit in the next three years. Quite astonishingly, the LGBT tourism industry spends more than US $165 billion annually. Let's see... 2, or 3 percent of that is not that bad now is it?
