Two senior citizens fell victim to three ruthless bandits armed with Kalashnikov guns in the prefecture of Ilia recently and following their horrific ordeal they were interviewed by a local television station about what they said was one of the most horrific night of their lives. According to 95-ear old Achilles Kougias and his 76--year old wife Anna three thieves illegally entered their home through the back door and after threatening to kill them, they robbed them of all their belongings. Before leaving, the bandits tortured and beat both elders for over half an hour and to such an extent that the beatings caused them numerous scars and serious medical inflictions. According to patrisnews.gr before invading the couple's home the three armed bandits had also invaded the house next door, where a relative was sleeping. (The incident took place in the area of Varda, Ilia).
