The latest buzz, is that George Papandreou is actually considering buying the Panathinaikos Team and according to local news reports the former prime minister is vying for a majority share of the team. The agreement between Tzinger (Vardinogiannis) and the former prime minister is actually in the last stages and needs a few more finishing touches before it becomes official. (Relevant announcements should be made over the next few hours) Papandreou has been courting the team over the last two weeks, and is very interested in purchasing a majority share. The only condition his associates have forwarded is that Papandreou be appointed as president of the team. Do not ask us how, which, where or when... we here at hellasfrappe are just as shocked as all of you, but there is talk that there is "great financial wealth" behind the Papandreou family (nooooooo-shocking!!) which has suspiciously significantly increased over the last three years (?) and this money will transform (like a "washing machine" is used to "whiten" whites) the Panathinaikos team into another Barcelona of the Mediterranean!
