Forthnet to offer Tooway satellite broadband in Greece

ForthnetImage via Wikipedia

The Forthnet group announced the continuation of its commercial cooperation with Eutelsat. Forthnet signed an agreement for the distribution of the broadband product portfolio of Skylogic, a subsidiary of Eutelsat.

The agreement has a duration of five years and enables Forthnet to offer the 'Tooway' broadband services in Greece and Cyprus.

Tooway services are satellite broadband access services offered via Eutelsat's Ka-Sat high-throughput satellite. With this agreement Forthnet will be able to offer triple-play services over a single satellite dish, bundling broadband with its Nova satellite TV service. Broadband speeds are expected at 10Mbps download and 4Mbps upload and will be commercially available in Q4.
