The mythology-themed movie of the year “Immortals” will soon hit cinemas all over the world and word has it that it is going to be a blockbuster all thanks to the talent of Greek native screenwriters Vlas and Charlie Parlapanides’, considered as A-list Screenwriters and two of the hottest names in Hollywood right now. The movie is a result of the collaboration of the producers of “300″ and is to make its debut on November 11.
Ofourse the protagonist-hero of the story is a young peasant by the name of Theseus, played by Henry Cavill, while King Hyperion, the villan who is mad with power, is played by none other than Mickey Rourke.
According to the story only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros and judging by the trailer… it is jam packed with action and suspense. The cast also includes Stephen Dorff, Luke Evans, Isabel Lucas, Kellan Lutz, Joseph Morgan, Freida Pinto, John Hurt and others, while it has been directed by Tarsem Singh. In 2000, the two brothers set out to their first full-length film, “Everything for a Reason.” Vlas wrote and directed while Charley produced. They both had small roles as well. In the years since then they have indeed remained rather quiet, but recently, this has begun to change.
The brothers are keeping busy with other projects as well. They are currently writing a film called “Live Bet,” a heist film set in New York City. They are also creating a television show called, “Undercover.” They are also set to write a draft for the American remake of “Death Note,” a thriller that is originally from Japan.
