IKA extends coverage to long-term unemployed, qualified non-EU nationals

The Social Security Foundation (IKA) said in an announcement earlier this week that it is going to provide health coverage to well over 37,500 long-term unemployed Greek nationals as well as to more than 36,340 insured nationals from non-EU countries who fulfil specific criteria.

Qualified individuals are expected to be registered at the national registry of health coverage beneficiaries.

IKA advises all parties to confirm their eligibility by visiting the online site www.ika.gr instead of waiting in long lines at its offices.
