According to a report in the Ta Nea newspaper, thousands of consumers are still waiting for the government to implement the proclamation it made in September. The report reveals that some 15 million euros from the Public Investment Program were to be provided as subsidies to fund the central heating upgrades. However, with half of the winter season almost over, the January 25th elections and the process for connection to the natural gas network taking about two months, many Greek consumers are bound to be disappointed because the plan will probably not be applied this winter season.
