Lufthansa Set To Launch Direct Flights to Crete in Summer 2015

Lufthansa announced the launch of a new direct flight to Crete this summer, from Munich to the Cretan city of Heraakleio, once a week on Saturday from May 23, 2015. It is also going to add two additional flights from Munich to Athens, thus increasing the total number of flights to 23 per week. The airline is planning to operate 21 flights a week between Athens and Frankfurt during the summer of 2015.

The Lufthansa Group, which includes Swiss Air, Australian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Germanwings, is now going to operate a total 158 flights to Greece from various airports next summer. More flights, more tourists!
