Champions League: Olympiakos Faces Juventus in Turin, Italy Tonight!

The Olympiakos soccer team is presently in Turin, Italy, where it is scheduled to face Serie A champions Juventus for the group phase of the Champions League. The two teams last met two weeks ago in Piraeus, with the Greek side claiming a 1-0 victory, thanks to a goal by Kasami and a top performance by the goal keeper Roberto.

The Greek team's coach has not yet decided on the starting eleven, but a likely team would include Roberto under the goal posts. Abidal, Botía, Masuaku and Elabdellaoui in defense, Maniatis, N’Dinga, Milivojević and Domínguez in mifield, with Mitroglou up front. David Fuster and Ibrahim Afellay are also competing for a spot, with Megyeri, Houtesiotis, Avlonitis, Salino, Siovas, Vouros, Giannoulis, Bouhalakis, Durmaz and Diamantakos on the bench.

The Greek team has never won in Turin. In fact it was defeated 2-0 in 1967, 2-1 in 1999 and 7-0 in 2003, which is the team’s greatest loss in recent history. Let us hope that the Greek team proves us wrong... After all they did so two weeks ago and won the Turin team!
