Victory for Olympiakos Against Match With Juventus (VIDEOS)

The Olympiakos soccer team claimed a 1-0 victory on Wednesday night against Juventus in a game that kept fans glued to their seats until the very end. Juventus had quite a few chances to score a goal in the second half of the game, but it could not land a goal from Olympiakos' own Roberto. Kasami’s shot, which was assisted by Kostas Mitroglou, only proved the difference and the Greek side have now beaten the Italian and Spanish champions in this year’s Champions League.

More exactly, Pirlo lost possession in midfield and Dominguez was able to bring the ball forward. He fed Mitroglou, who in return laid the ball off for Kasami, and the midfielder expertly slided the ball past Buffon from the edge of the area.

GOAL for the Greek team!

Juventus' poor away run in the Champions League goes on, with the Serie A winners now having lost five of their last six matches away from Turin. They deserved something this evening, but qualification for the knockout stages is now in serious doubt. For now, I've been Tom Maston and thanks for joining me.

The goalkeeper for the Greek team palmed the ball away each time it reached the Olympiakos post. Without a doubt the star of Wednesday night's match was Roberto. His skills were so impressive that in the second half some sports commentators said that he even surpassed himself.
