According to poll results for national elections that was condicted by Public Issue -and released at the weekend- the main opposition party SYRIZA leads among those questioned with 28.5 percent, followed by ND with 28 percent. The ultra-right Golden Dawn (Chryssi Avghi) followed in third place with 10 percent, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) with 7.5 percent, the POTAMI party with 7 percent (the number of which should be questioned since this party was only formed several weeks ago), PASOK with 5.5 percent, the Independent Greeks party with 5 percent and the Democratic Left party (DIMAR) with 3.5 percent while 5 percent was expressed preference to other parties.
