SHOCK - Cyprus Authorities Deny Russian Plane To Land

credit Voice of Russia
(Voice of Russia) - A Russian An-24 transport plane that made an emergency landing in Cairo on Thursday went to Ankara, the airport administration reported. The An-24 was bound for Syria from Sudan with planned refuelling in Cyprus but the Cyprus authorities -or the Anastasiadis government- did not allow the plane to land.

The plane instead landed in Cairo with the Egyptian authorities’ permission.

Earlier the Russian Ministry of Defence denied the Egyptian media reports that the An-24 was a combat plane.

Editor's Note - If this story is true, then shame on the Anastasiadis government. Bravo Cypriots... You just gained yourselves a Cyprus version of George Papandreou! Get ready for the Annan plan now. Papadopoulos is probably turning over in his grave!
