Tasos Theofilou, the 30-year-old accused of killing a taxi driver during an armed robbery on Paros earlier this month, has been given until Thursday to prepare his testimony before facing a judge. Lawyer Spyros Fytrakis took on Theofilou’s defense and insists his client is innocent. Theofilou is also accused of being linked to the urban guerrilla group Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire. Police searched an apartment in Lamia, central Greece, that Theofilou had rented recently. Officers believe that he was planning a raid on a National Bank branch in Lamia. They found a bulletproof vest, a laptop, a printer, a laminating machine and a bicycle.
