Interim Health Minister Christos Kittas said that cancer drugs supply to hospitals, drug stores of the National Health Services Organization (EOPYY) and private clinics will return to normal by Wednesday. However, he noted that the government emerging from the June 17 elections will be called to resolve this issue. Cancer patients had a very difficult time since their options were to either pay for their medicine or run from hospital to hospital to see if it was available as hospitals faced big shortages because pharmaceutical companies refused to supply them without being paid.
