VIDEO REPORT - Al Jazeera Sheds Light On Corrupt Greek Media

Al Jazeera recently featured an extensive report on the crisis in the Greek media and how it has affected the level of freedom the press. Most of the mainstream media in Greece has been accused of having a biased approach to the news, of bringing “chaos and panic” to the people and especially of manipulating the public opinion. The most prominent example of this is MEGA channel, as shown in this video report. The report aims at shedding light on the political and financial influences shaping the mass media advocates’ stance towards the news.
