This might be a bit offbeat, but the Ecologists with its star candidate Greek socialite, media personality, glamour model, singer, actress, and pornographic actress Julia Alexandratou apparently did well at these elections!
Move over Marie Curie, Indira Gandhi, Margret Thatcher and Angela Merkel... Julia stripped for democracy and allowed herself to be photographed on a bare skin rug for the good of the nation and she was able to gain 68 votes, (just one vote short from her favorite number).
Seems that most of the votes were from Thessaloniki.
No worries Julia... 68 votes today... the universe tomorrow.
