Greece has unused potential and sectors with competitive edge which could contribute to economic growth, Greek Economy Minister Anna Diamantopoulou said in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Wednesday. She cited four areas, such as agriculture, where many young people have stepped in again, and mining, with a mine set to become operational again for the first time in decades. Diamantopoulou also mentions tourism, a traditionally key source of income for Greece, where there are further opportunities, as well as research and innovation.
