Greece's counter-terrorism unit received a 20-page declaration from the terrorist group titled "Group of Popular Fighters (OLA)", which claiming responsibility for the armed attack on the Israeli embassy on the 12th of December.
According to a report in To Vima, the 20-page declaration was discovered in a garbage can in the district of Nea Smyrni, following a phone call to the Efymerida ton Syntakton newspaper.
The official police report from the terrorist attack last December had noted that 54 7.62mm shells were used which were fired from a Kalashnikov assault riffle.
During the attack there were no injuries, but quite a bit of damage was made to the building.
It should be reminded, that the same terrorist group had also claimed responsibility against the residence of the German ambassador in Athens (December 2013), as well as the assault on the offices of the New Democracy party on Sygrou Avenue (January 2013).
