The shocking statement, which was published on the Athens Indymedia website (yes the same website that is funded by Soros money) and dated January 14, is accompanied by a video and photograph of Xiros, against a backdrop of images depicting Che Guevara, Greek WWII resistance leader Aris Velouchiotis and even Greek war of independence fighters Georgos Karaiskakis and Theodore Kolokotronis.
Xiros, 55, who was serving six consecutive life sentences as well as an additional 25 years for his involvement in this notorious terrorist group, as well as in the murder of six people, various bombings and a plethora of robberies, said that he has taken the decision to blast his "guerrilla rifle" against all of those who steal from Greek citizens to make a profit.
In the statement, Xiros claims:
"I once again decided to make the guerrilla rifle thunder against those who stole our lives and sold our dreams to make a profit," Xiros says in the statement, which rails against how Greece's financial crisis was handled.He criticizes the media, the judiciary, the police and the extreme right-wing Golden Dawn party, and invites Greece's anarchist groups to join him. The statement reserves particular bile for the two parties in Greece's governing coalition, the conservative New Democracy and the socialist PASOK party which he accuses of treason.
He even goes on to say that the price of their acts of treason is only "death".
In extensive references to the financial crisis, Xiros also notes that Greece and other European countries have become colonies that are under "German occupation." (Funny he should say that since we had featured an article from newsbomb last year that was quoting the Filiki Etairia group and which led us to believe something else about his organization's relationship with the German government.)
"If we ever meet again, which I don't hope (and neither should you) you will do well to kill me. Because if you take me captive again, I will leave again to fight you to the end," Xiros said in the statement.It should be reminded that Xiros was given an absence from Korydallos prison on New Year's day and was due to return to the penitentiary on January 7, but he never returned.
Authorities launched a manhunt right away, while it was revealed that Xiros spent New Year’s Eve in the company of other terrorists from the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire group who are also jailed at Korydallos prison.
In his statement, Xiros begins with a poem by (Greek author) Rigas Feraios that reads “It’s better to live one hour as a free man than endure forty years of slavery and prison.”
He then criticizes the “crocodiles” -as he notes- in the Greek mass media (meaning the better known reporters and media owners) and a Democracy that (according to him) “has long been dead.” He also warns against a renewed “cannibalization” of his loved ones, and then sends out a message to the mass media by warning them that they will soon "receive" the answer that they deserve. He then warns Greece's elite that nothing can save them anymore, and he calls on anarchists to take arms and form groups in neighborhoods across the country and be ready for action.
Although much of what Xiros says is true, we must not forget that this man murdered six people (and the organization as a whole assassinated 23 people in 103 attacks on U.S., British, Turkish and Greek targets).
Also it is good to keep in mind something that Kleanthis Grivas had said in an article in ProtoThema several years ago. He said that November 17 could have been a tool of foreign secret services. More precisely, in December 2005, Kleanthis Grivas published an article in the ProtoThema newspaper, accusing the Greek branch of Gladio (NATO's stay-behind paramilitary organization during the Cold War) as a "Sheepskin", in regards to the assassination of CIA station chief Richard Welch in Athens in 1975, as well as of the assassination of Stephen Saunders in 2000.
After the article was published, this was denied by the US State Department, which responded that "the Greek terrorist organization November 17 was responsible for both assassinations". At the same time it asserted that Grivas's central piece of evidence had been a document ("Westmoreland Field Manual") which the US as well as a Congressional inquiry had dismissed as a Soviet forgery.
It should be noted the documents make no specific mention of Greece, November 17th, nor Welch.
The US State Department also highlighted the fact that, in the case of Richard Welch, "Grivas bizarrely accuses the CIA of playing a role in the assassination of one of its own senior officials" as well as the Greek government's statements to the effect that the "stay behind" network had been dismantled in 1988.
(Convenient if you are a foreigner who wants to bankrupt Greece... And we all know that Mr. Soros would like nothing more than to use his weight to create even more billions).
Revolutionary Organization 17 November was a Marxist urban guerrilla organization (or a terrorist group) that formed in 1975 and believed to have been disbanded in 2002 after the arrest and trial of a number of its members. They were named after the day of the 1973 Athens Polytechnic uprising against the military junta.
Here is the statement in Greek

δικαιώματα, και θα ζητάνε όπως πάντα αίμα στην αρένα, έχω να πω τα εξής:
Καταρχάς, η δημοκρατία σας έχει αποθάνει προ πολλού και το εξάμβλωμα που έχει απομείνει είναι τόσο εξόφθαλμα φασιστικό που εξέχουν γύρω του οι αγκύλες της σβάστικας.
Μην παριστάνετε λοιπόν τους τιμητές και τους προστάτες τη στιγμή που δολοφονείτε τους νέους για 1.40€ και δεν σας καίγεται και καρφί. Όχι σε εμάς, απατεώνες των ΜΜΕ, φερέφωνα των δανειστών, δωσίλογοι του Δ' Ράιχ.
Είναι φυσικό η έξοδός μου να προκαλεί πανικό και τρόμο σε σας και σ' αυτούς που υπηρετείτε!
Αλλά όχι στην κοινωνία και στον λαό.
Είστε απέναντί μας, είστε τσανάκια αυτών που μας καταστρέψανε και αυτό είναι πλέον συνείδηση όλων.
Δε μας ξεγελάτε πια.
Δε σας σώζει τίποτα, ούτε τα Νταχάου που σχεδιάζετε, ούτε οι στρατιές των μισθοφόρων. Ότι και να κάνετε πολύ σύντομα το ποτάμι της οργής θα φουντώσει και θα σας πνίξει!
Και σας προειδοποιώ:
Μην τολμήσετε να κανιβαλλίσετε τους συγγενείς μου και τα αγαπημένα μου πρόσωπα, μη φαντασθείτε ότι θα επαναλάβετε τα όργια του 2002, όταν μας είχατε όλους αιχμαλώτους. Τώρα θα λάβετε την απάντηση που σας αξίζει!

Το αν κατάφερα να πείσω τους δεσμώτες να μου χορηγήσουν άδεια, το θεωρώ προσωπική επιτυχία και θα τους απαντήσω με την φράση που είπε ο Τζαβέλας όταν έπεισε τον Αλή Πασά να τον αφήσει ελεύθερο: “Χαίρομαι που εγέλασα έναν δόλιο”. Πράξη βέβαια που πλήρωσε με την ζωή του παιδιού του, που ήταν όμηρος του Αλή Πασά.
Αν ήσασταν έξυπνοι θα μας είχατε δώσει όχι απλά άδειες αλλά και ελευθερία, όμως φυσικά δεν είστε.
Τώρα την ύστατη ώρα αντί να φωνασκείτε υστερικά, να ετοιμάζετε πιο σκληρούς νόμους και πιο σκληρή καταστολή – που δείχνει και το μέτρο της δημοκρατίας σας – καλύτερα να ετοιμάζετε την ντροπιαστική φυγή σας. Γιατί η βασιλεία σας τελείωσε και δεν το έχετε πάρει χαμπάρι!
Θα μπορούσα να επαναπαυτώ στις δάφνες της προηγούμενης δράσης μου και να επαναλαμβάνω την καραμέλα της εποχής “κάποιος πρέπει επιτέλους να κάνει κάτι”. Δεν το έπραξα.
Η επιλογή μου να παραβιάσω την άδεια καταστρέφει πρώτα-πρώτα την δική μου “πορεία”. Όμως τι προοπτικές μπορεί να έχει κανείς όταν βλέπει την κοινωνία να καταρρέει, τη χώρα να καταστρέφεται και τον λαό να οδηγείται στον εξανδραποδισμό; Μέχρι πότε θα βλέπουμε εν έτει 2014 ανθρώπους να πεθαίνουν απ' τα μαγκάλια και να μένουμε απαθείς; Εγώ πάντως όχι!
Πήρα για άλλη μια φορά την απόφαση, να βροντήξω ξανά το αντάρτικο τουφέκι ενάντια σε αυτούς που μας κλέψαν την ζωή και πούλησαν τα όνειρά μας για να βγάλουν κέρδος.
Δεν θέλουμε τα ευεργετήματά σας, κρατείστε τα να φιλοδωρείτε κανέναν ρουφιάνο σας.
Θέλουμε δικαιώματα και θα τα κατακτήσουμε με τ' όπλο στο χέρι. Δε ζητάμε χάρη από κανέναν και ειδικά από σας τους προσκυνημένους. Και καλά θα κάνετε αν ξανασυναντηθούμε που δεν το εύχομαι (ούτε σεις να το εύχεστε) να με σκοτώσετε γιατί αν με πιάσετε αιχμάλωτο πάλι θα ξαναφύγω για να σας πολεμήσω μέχρις εσχάτων.
Θα κλείσω με ένα κομμάτι από την πολιτική μου δήλωση αντί απολογίας στο εφετείο, τον Νοέμβρη του 2006: “Δεν είμαι σε καμιά περίπτωση αυτό που περιγράφετε, σίγουρα όμως είμαι αυτό που φοβάστε.
Και θα ξαναπώ τον ίδιο στίχο από τον Προμηθέα Δεσμώτη.
