M@alakes, Traitors And "Sirs" Do Ankara's Dirty Work in Cyprus

credit Agora
Theodore Kolokotronis was not an educated man, in fact he may have been illiterate, but he was a patriot. He fought for Greece's independence from Ottoman rule and will always be viewed as a hero for doing so. Today ... heroism and patriotism in both Greece and especially in Cyprus are measured by stupidity, bilingualism, indiscretion, treachery, betrayal, lies, m@lakies, and good old fashioned con jobs. Whoever sells the lie better, is usually signalled out as being a great thinker (example George Papandreou), or is taken care of from the establishment (example Evangelos Venizelos, George Papakostantinou, etc.).

The latest m@lakia comes from none other than Sir Christopher Antoniou Pissarides. He was appointed the title of Sir by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of the latter's birthday for his services in economics. His latest (supposed) achievement was a movie about the infamous CCCI (Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry). If the CD had not named the "initiators" in the movie, then it would have been difficult to believe that this production was pre-prepared by the British Foreign Office itself.

In fact, the clip should also expect to be honored by Turkey as well with an Ataturk award! The CCIC together with the other forces in the occupied part of Cyprus should seriously nominate this man for all the services he offered Erdogan and Davutoglu. Trust us... he is well worth it.

Turkey usually spends tens of millions of dollars on propaganda and here we have a man with a Nobel Prize, and a Sir on top of that, who literally saved Ankara from making all these expenses.

In his little world, the Turkish invasion of Cyprus never existed. He forgets that some of the most beautiful parts of Cyprus that lack development, are 100 percent Greek-Cypriot. He ignores the fact that properties on the invaded part of the island have been stolen, and he also forgets that today Cyprus is a Republic (and not a Greek community as once referred to). He also forgets that the problems of Cyprus have nothing to do with trading with Turkey, but are revolved around the unprecedented, undemocratic and ILLEGAL occupation/invasion of the island! Therefore a solution to the Cyprus issue will never come to pass because people such as him continue to address the victims in this tragedy and never turn on Turkey who we all know is (and has always been) the aggressor!

Recently Sir Pissarides revealed a letter to journalist Fanoulla Argyros (a researcher-writer based in London) that was sent by the British Foreign Office on February 26, 1996 to the then President of the Greek Cypriot Brotherhood in London Harris Sophokleides inviting him to help by pressuring the Cyprus Brotherhood to compromise on the Cyprus issue and then be compensated for their actions!
".... Organisations such as your own can help pave the way in persuading all Cypriots that the price of compromise inherent in any settlement will be vastly recompensed by the gains ". (Emphasis on the world all by the British Foreign Office).
In 2008 this was followed by a "study" from Praxoula Antoniades along with Fiona Mullen and Turkish (settler-"S» 1.10.2011) Ozlem Oguz Cilsal that was titled "The day after I: commercial opportunities following a solution to the Cyprus problem". Quite shockingly, in that "study" the Republic of Cyprus was referred to simply as "the southern part of the island" (in the clip that received all the awards in the UK Sir Pissarides referred to this area of Cyprus as the "Greek community" part).

(How's that for a patriot... ou na xathei!)

A former minister of Christofias argued that if a solution for the Cyprus problem were ever to materialize then the island would benefit from a pipeline that would run on Turkish territory (!!!). Praxoula's shocking "study" was published by the well known Norweigeian PRIO attorneys (who some may remember had been recruited to brainwash Greeks in favor of the Annan Plan). And wouldn't you know it, the establishment or the Queen also decided to award her as well but this time through another Sir (namely she was honored by Stelios HajiIoannou) with a preface by none other than Alexander Downer himself!

(In case you are not familiar with the name: Alexander Downer is a former Australian foreign minister who was appointed as the new UN envoy for Cyprus in July, 2008. Since his appointment, and according to Cypriot reports, major scandals have erupted on the island and on the regional/global diplomatic scene with Downer in the epicenter. Apparently  leaked documents revealed back-room deals, political extortion and political favouritism..., etc and all of the methods that are routinely used by organized crime. In fact Cyprus newspapers have published a series of stories on this man detailing his role in guiding Cyprus on the path of destruction through his special powers as a United Nations representative. Moreover, even the Cyprus parliament was pressured to open an investigation on whether or not Downer violated the codes of professional ethics and protocols that are supposed to be observed by diplomats. In Greece, we had our another shady adviser, who was also linked to chaos, and the destabilization of our economy -Pythia Plan- but he was not from the UN, he was from another major think tank across the Atlantic and was always on the side of George Papandreou!)

The second "study," that was also apparently recognized as being brilliant for Cyprus was (scandalously) titled "The day after II: Reconstructing a reunited Cyprus", and get this... it was apparently co-financed by the British High Commission in Cyprus!

(If it walks like a duck... Quacks like a duck... then it can't be a hamster for f***ck sakes!)

This astonishing information that was revealed to journalist Fanoulla Argyros from the pseudo patriot Sir Pissarides also promised each Cypriot 5,000 Euros in cash for agreeing to the solution!

So now you know why the establishment wanted a patriot like Tassos Papadopoulos out of the way. He rejected the Annan Plan, as did Costas Karamanlis in Athens, and both men were placed on a black list by the establishment. Whereas people like George Papandreou who promoted the Annan Plan are well taken care of from the establishment today as are all the M@alakes, Traitors and "Sirs" who sold their souls -and their countries- to the devil for the love of money and useless titles.
