The decision was exposed by Komotini’s newspaper “Chronos” and revealed that the Supreme Court annulled a will that was drawn up by a Muslim man before he had passed away since it is something that is not determined by the Islamic Inheritance jurisprudence. The deceased, said the report, left all his belongings to his widowed wife, but his family contested the will because of this stipulation in Shariah law, and as a result the will was determined to be invalid.
Shariah law varies between cultures but in its strictest definition it is considered the infallible law of God.
Bear in mind that the prevalence of Sharia law is a long-standing demand of Ankara since R.T.Erdogan came to power in Turkey.

(What kind of a lame decision is this? What did the Supreme Court think it was accomplishing by opening this can of worms? If Shariah law is enforced in Thrace, it will then begin being enforced in other areas with Muslim minorities, and this will extend in other areas other than matters of inheritance. What will we see? Men getting their fingers chopped off because they drank a glass of ouzo? Women getting stoned to death because they are not covered from head to toe? Why is the Greek government allowing Turkey to Kosovize this area? If the government does not address these questions and soon... We are afraid that all hell will break loose in this country. Enough!
