Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki Finally Stopped Being Paid As Ambassador

Miracles can happen! - The former head of the Athens Olympics Organizing Committee, Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, received a state salary until the end of January due to her role as an ambassador at large, Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos informed Parliament on Friday. Avramopoulos informed MPs that a law passed recently means that none of the eight people who carry the title of ambassador at large receive a salary for their services.

Some reports said that when she took on this role, she said she did not want to be paid for her services. This might be so, and certainly can do wonders in gossip mags, but then why did she accept this money until January 2013? Seriously... Doesn't her husband have enough money? Jeezzzz.....
