A group of senior high-school students in Demenika in Patra, western Greece, donated the money that they had collected for their annual school excursion to the family of a 15-year-old fellow pupil suffering a serious medical condition, local media reported. The students also donated the money that was subsequently offered to them by a local businessman so that they would not miss out on their excursion in order to cover the 15-year-old’s surgery expenses.
