Cyprus Spokesman Slams Reports - Says Anastasiades To Visit Moscow

President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades is fully ready to visit the Russian capital, once this becomes possible, Government Spokesman Christos Stylianides said at the weekend, slamming reports that claimed Anastasiades refused President Vladimir Putin's invitation to visit to Moscow.

In a statement, Stylianides underlined that:

   "Regarding reports and statements which note that President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades has rejected an open invitation by Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Russia, I want to clarify that such thing does not exist nor it was and is possible for the President of the Republic to refuse such an invitation".
