INSANITY - Vlastos' SYRIZA Lawyer Says They Should Have Let Them Go! (VIDEO)

We do not know what they add to their coffee at SYRIZA, but some of the m@lakies that some of its members say from time to time go beyond an "oh my God I want to pull my hair out" reaction to a "please let me jump off this building now" kind of mood!

One such incident occurred on Monday morning during MEGA channel's morning news show. The reporters, who were analyzing the foiled jail break at the Trikala penitentiary by Panagiotis Vlastos on Sunday had a surprise call from his SYRIZA lawyer Frangiskos Ragousis. The latter attorney, who has every right to defend his client, and is allowed to be skeptical about the evidence, or even downright lie on behalf of his client (yes lawyers do that), went a step too far this time. He literally attempted to sell insanity to the television audience.

Are you ready for this one?

Ragousis, who is known for having the capability to raise his voice like a mighty bullhorn, and speak over someone's voice (something that he probably learned at SYRIZA because all their MPs do that) had the audacity to say on live television -and argue about it as well- that "they (the guards) should have let them go (meaning the criminals and Vlastos)", while he even characterized the prison guards of being "unmanly" for shooting back at the helicopter or for basically for doing their jobs!

Ragousis was referring to the attempted jail break of Panagiotis Vlastos on Sunday afternoon with a helicopter from the Trikala penitentiary.

He also began charging authorities of negligence because Vlastos was not allowed to be transferred to a hospital and was rather treated at the Trikala prison. (Reports said that this was decided because they were afraid that the criminals may of had a Plan B and possibly attempt to free him while he was being transferred to the hospital.)

The head of the guards at the penitentiary just said "shame", and what more can the man actually say? In Ragousis world, those who attempt to escape jail should be allowed to do so.

When the warden of the Korydalos prison Mr. Aravatinos revealed to him that the criminals also threw down a package into one of the prison courtyards containing a rifle, Ragousis said that this was not a crime. Anyone can throw something into a prison!!!!

The call from Ragousis was so provocative, that even Chrysanthos Lazaridis -who is a close associate of Prime Minister Antonis Samaras- intervened and said what all of us were saying throughout the whole live debate. "In what country of the world are such things said? What are we supposed to do free up the prisons? Weren't they (the police, guards) obligated to stop the escape? It is good that a dangerous convict, who was attempting to escape, was caught. Instead of saying bravo to the police and congratulating them we are now nagging about who shot first?"

The man is right. We should not even be debating this subject because in any normal country Vlastos would have been shot on the spot.

We are curious... Was the President of the Athens Bar Association listening to what one of its members was saying? Shouldn't a lawyer be suspended of his or her duties when he does not comply with the law or when he literally challenges common sense and advocates for lawlessness?

What is this Banania-Land?

Pes mas ti pineis Mr. Ragousis Kai den mas dineis!
