Glass Dome Panels Over Parliament Crash, MPs, Workers Run In Panic (VIDEO)

Parliamentarians and workers were in a state of panic on Friday morning when the plenary session was abruptly disrupted after two glass panels adorning the dome roof came crashing down over their heads! According to television reports, a Parliament technical service worker attempted to do some maintenance on the glass dome that adorns the parliament -due to the heavy rain fall- but it is suspected that she stepped at a point which was already cracked and as a result two large window panes crumbled and fell literally threatening the lives of both herself and all of those sitting below on ministerial benches. As such, deputies as well as employees ran out of the area in total panic while a rescue team rushed to save the technical service worker who at that moment was literally hanging in mid air. Service crews rushed to the scene to do repair work, while others quickly collected the glass debris, as well as removed the water which at this point was pouring into the Parliament House. The plenary session soon began again and from what was reported the service worker is in perfect health.
