Main opposition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras is apparently invited to speak at the Brooking Institute in New York on January 22, 2012. Tsipras' address is to focus on the future economic challenges, Greece's prospects and the policies Europe and Greece should follow to deal with the economic crisis, according to an announcement from the American Institute.

When we heard about Alexis heading off to New York to speak at the Brooking Institute, we immediately remembered a previous report we had featured here on HellasFrappe from the LandDestroyer news site which criticized this neocon think tank's "Which Path to Persia?" booklet. Are you sitting down...? The booklet is a handbook on how to literally overthrow a nation. This particular the 156 page report focuses on effecting regime change within Iran.

"It also talks about purposefully provoking a nation in order to justify a full-scale invasion. Indicative is what is said on page page 78 of the PDF: Justifying Invasion, page 65 (page 78 of the PDF): "If the United States were to decide that to garner greater international support, galvanize US domestic support, and/or provide a legal justification for an invasion, it would be best to wait for an Iranian provocation, then the time frame for an invasion might stretch out indefinitely.” LandDestroyer

The author is right.

If such things are said and openly talked about within the halls of these corporate-funded think-tanks, then what the hell do these people talk about off the record?

Here is where it gets really interesting. From what we read, the Brookings Institution is mostly funded by the Rockefeller’s through the Rockefeller Foundation, Chevron Corporation, Exxon Mobil Corporation, AT&T, Boeing, Marathon Oil Company Foundation, Pfizer, J.P. Morgan Chase Foundation; they own large portions of these companies and their trusts. Also, there are many banks that contribute to the Brookings Institution as well such as Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Bank of America and Visa, and even the Walton Family Foundation otherwise known as the owners of Wal-Mart.

But don't take our word for it... Read what we discovered.
The Brookings Institute itself is a creation of the notorious globalist funding arms including the Carnegie Corporation, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Ford Foundation, all who recently had been involved in the fake "Ground Zero Mosque" controversy. Today, Brookings boasts a full complement of support and funding from America's biggest corporations. Upon the Brookings Institute's board of trustees one will find a collection of corporate leaders from Goldman Sachs, the Carlyle Group, the insurance industry, Pepsi (CFR), Alcoa (CFR), and various CFR affiliated consulting firms like McKinsey & Company. The Rockefeller Brothers funded Atlantic Council works closely with the RAND Corporation, the Brookings Institution, American Enterprise Institute, the Trilateral Commission, and the Council on Foreign Relations to forge the US establishment’s foreign policy. Prison Planet

Incidentally, it is amusing that CNSNews characterizes the Brookings Institution as “center-left,” a designation deemed to give the impression the place is crawling with Democrats and fence-sitting “progressives.” Never mind such labels are worthless, as the transnational plutocrats and globalists in control of the horizontal and vertical consider such appellations of little use beyond hypnotizing the commoners. In fact, Brookings is strictly a neocon “think tank,” connected at the hip with the American Enterprise Institute (where Bush gets his “minds,” that is to say psychopaths) and the Wharton Business School, allegedly fronted by the Tavistock Institute. In addition, Brookings hosts the Saban Center for Middle East Policy, founded by Haim Saban, the billionaire former Israeli who proudly declares: “I’m a one-issue guy and my issue is Israel.” Saban is a Democrat—thus demonstrating you can’t tell the difference between Democrats and Republicans without a scorecard. Brookings is a top level globalist operation. It receives funding from an array of foundations, including the CIA’s Ford Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation. It also receives money from Bank of America, JP Morgan and a number of “defense” contractors. Brookings also shares a relationship with the neocon operation, the American Enterprise Institute. A number of AEI alumni, most notably Michael Ledeen, have called for moving aggressively against Iran. Following Donilon’s sojourn to Brookings, the prospect of an attack on Iran dominated the GOP “debates” (sponsored in by the warmongering AEI along with the Heritage Foundation and CNN). darkpolitricks
Other politicians who have spoken at the Brookings Institute and are indirectly tied to strange defence deals here in Greece are Evangelos Venizelos. The leader of PASOK addressed a Brookings Institution event on October 29, 2012 titled "The debt crisis in the Eurozone, the case of Greece and the role of the US". inews

Former premier George Papandreou, while in Washington for an official visit with President Obama in 2010, also spoke at the Brookings Institution where he discussed Greece’s economic situation and its relations with Europe and the United States. - The relevant source also has a VIDEO - greekreporter

But we saved the best for last. Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis also spoke at the Brookings Institute in February of 2009 and we all know that she was one of Costas Karamanlis' secret (and biggest) rivals. Her speech was titled "Collective Security in the 21st century; Building new bridges".

If you look at the above names, and then go through what has happened in Greece over the last 30 years you will immediately understand why these people have always been signalled out for being the "masterminds" and movers and shakers that showed their allegiance to interests other than Greek.

So it kind of makes one wonder. What business does little Alexis Tsipras have with this institute. Alexis used to protest outside of the American Embassy with the Communist Party several years ago. What can he possibly have in common with global movers and shakers of this world and major defence contractors?

Secondly, who is promoting Alexis to all these people and for God's sake why is he accepting the call?

Some say... Money talks and b**llshit walks, and let's not kid ourselves defence contractors, oil companies and banks rule the world and can make a man very, very rich.

We personally see another fake socialist leader in the making. Someone who will speak about spreading the wealth, but on the sidelines dine with multi-billionaire defence contractors who invade other countries, topple governments.

So why is Alexis going there? What business does he have with a group of people who publish books on how to start up chaos in countries and overthrow governments?

Pou pas re Alexi... kai giati?
