Costa Gavras is coming to Athens for the Greek premiere of his new film, the 2012 bank boardroom thriller "Le Capital", on January 14. A cynical phrase that "we gather money from the poor, which are many, and give them to the rich, which are few", by a Goldman Sacks executive, prompted Gavras to produce this new film of which he is also both the director and screenwriter. The movie is in the French language but the trailer we posted has English subtitles. The plot centers on the money markets through the adventures of a common man, played by Gad Elmaleh, who evolves into a ruthless banker. Behind the glamour of a banker, his education and cultivation, is a darker side and it is well documented in this new suspense thriller.
