Authorities from Greece's electronic crimes squad on Tuesday arrested a 52-year-old female teacher on charges of child pornography. According to reports, the police tracked down the teacher following a tip from a Dutch journalist who said colleagues of hers researching a known Dutch pedophile had put her in touch with the 52-year-old.
In such a framework, a report on Kathimerini wrote today that the Dutch journalist, posing as a pedophile visited Greece and met with the 52-year-old before briefing Greek authorities.
A raid on the home of the teacher, who is the first woman in Greece to face such charges, turned up 34 magazines containing images of children being sexually exploited, a pad containing handwritten notes about a pedophile movement in Greece and names of suspected members who participated in the organization's sessions.
Editor's Note - When it comes to children, their maltreatment, abuse or exploitation, we believe that citizens of the world should demand that the death sentence be set into force! No ifs, ands or buts.
