Blaze Ristovski, senior academic of the FYROManian Academy of Arts and Sciences (MANU), proclaims material reasons as the only factor preventing imaginary “emancipation” of Serbs, Bulgarians and Greeks of Geographic FYROM into “Macedonians” (“Makedonci”). According to this simplistic Marxist outlook on history, it was solely superior material and financial power and organization of Serbia, Greece and Bulgaria which prevented emergence of a separate Slavic “Macedonian” people as factor in those historical events.
