The section of the Tripoli-Kalamata motorway in the Peloponnese, in the region of Tsakonas, that had remained closed for three years due to roadworks, is apparently going to open once again for drivers as of December 21, just in time for the holiday rush. The Greek Ministry if Development and Infrastructure made sure to speed up the construction works here, said to be about 11km, in the framework of facilitating Christmas holidaymakers. Drivers should be advised that there is only one small detour remaining on this motorway at the location of the big bridge's construction, other than that its perfectly fine.
