This week's Sunday at the Movies proposes the documentary:The Putin System. It documents Russian President Vladimir Putin's rise to power.
It is a very interesting documentary that covers 30 years in the history of Russia through the personal history of Vladimir Putin: A man who has single-mindedly played all the rules of the game to reach the throne of power.
For almost three years, filmmakers Jean-Michel Carr and Jill Emery interviewed dozens of people to gain insight into the life and political motivations of Putin.
They spoke to supporters, to Putin's harshest critics, as well as many KGB and Kremlin insiders. What emerged is a point-of-view documentary that presents an ominous view of what Putin is willing to do to ensure Russia regains its position on the world stage.
We highly recommend this. It is indeed a MUST WATCH.
