"Unfortunately there is no answer to Greece's proposal referring the continuation of the Nimetz procedure on the solution of the FYROM name issue," Foreign Ministry spokesman Grigoris Delavekouras said this past week. Replying to relevant queries, Delavekouras said that FYROM is displaying an attitude that disdains the UN procedures and adopts "offensive statements" on Greece, creating a climate that does not assist the procedures. Delavekouras underlined that a change of the climate is necessary, accusing FYROM of repetitive insults and offensive statements against Greece. On the EU report on enlargement, he reminded that it is only a proposal and only the EU member states' positions have substance. (AMNA)
