Harvard Holds Lottery For Papandreou's Study Group Because Of High Demand


We all know that George Papandreou is going to head a study group at Harvard Kennedy School called (Re)desigining Europe, something which has not been received well by both Greek citizens in Greece as well as abroad, nonetheless, his classes are on demand! Believe it or not folks Harvard’s Institute of Politics, where the study group will be held, actually held a lottery for applicants because too many students wanted to attend this class!

Specifically, a Harvard University announcement said that due to the incredibly high demand to attend Papandreou’s study group a one-time lottery would be held in order to attend the remaining sessions starting October 15.

Editor's Note - Before you begin scratching your heads in wonder, slashing your wrists and OD-ing on valium keep in mind that the majority of these students come from medium-class to wealthy families. Taking courses at Harvard is not something an average student can do since tuition costs begin at approximately 55,000 per year. It would be interesting though if someone actually tested the knowledge skills of these students at the end of this study group. That is when he who laughs last will finally laugh first!
