Talk about a Fatal Distraction - When officials first discovered the dead body of a 52-year-old priest near Krestena (a small village near Pyrgos, in the prefecture of Ilia), they first believed that they were dealing with bandits, or a fatal case of looting, never in their wildest dreams did they expect that behind this savage killing was the priest's wife and her lover! According to local reports, the woman (or Papadia) 43, and a 40-year-old man from a nearby village were being questioned in relation to the murder and whether they knew each other before the incident. The woman apparently confessed to the complicity in the murder (as well as to her sinful affair with the trigger-happy 40-year old), while police officials have also massed evidence on the "lover" and the way he was used to fire at the priest.
