A 16 year old girl from Bulgaria fell victim to a vicious gang rape, which was apparently perpatrated by her boyfriend's mother, an article in "To Ethnos" said. The report said that authorities have already arrested six culprits who are suspected of being involved in the crime, while an arrest warrant has been issued for one more criminal.
The 16-year old was apparently living with her boyfriend (also Bulgarian) and was having trouble making ends meet. His mother telephoned her last weekend and asked her to get ready to accompany her and the boyfriend's father to a local taverna that was seeking help in the town of Rethymno.
According to the newspaper report the young teen was picked up by her parents in law and instead of driving to the taverna she was led to a rural village, and specifically to an abandoned barn, just a little out of the city, and left there by her parents in law to be gang raped by several illegal immigrants.
Following the rape, the mother in law returned and threw 50 euros at the young girl and at the same time warned her not to talk to anyone about what had just occurred there.
Unfortunately for her, when the young girl returned to her apartment she rushed to a local police station and made a formal complaint.
Authorities acted quickly, and yes... the mother-in law was also arrested.
The case has shocked the local community in the small town of Rethymno, and the Greek justice system now has the last word.
