Thieves Rob Entire Photovoltaic Park In Serres !



An owner of a photovoltaic park in the area of Strymonochori, Serres could not believe his eyes when he visited his investment and discovered that only the concrete bases, with 176 of the total 220 installed photovoltaic panels were missing! According to police reports, the thieves dismantled and took off with the entire park! The reports said that the thieves broke into the installations during the night with a truck, unscrewed the photovoltaic panels from their concrete bases without being seen, removed them and then simply escaped unnoticed. The financial cost of this loss is unknown, but according to first estimates is estimated at more than 80,000 euros. Serres police are conducting an investigation into the theft.
